Generally, the temple will be only closed on Nyepi Day or Silent Day (usually fall down in March) because the Hindus People has a prohibition to leave the house.

1. Witnessing Beautiful Sunset

In the time, beautiful sunset scenery will appear and can be seen clearly from temple area. The scenery is so magical as reddish yellow glow which shine and reflect to ocean hence often used as photography background by many people.

2. Watching Kecak & Fire Dance

One of Authentic Balinese Dance that called “Kecak Fire and Fire” is often staged in late afternoon exactly at 18.00 o’clock.

The dance narrates about the heroism of Rama with the Wanara (the apes troopers) when fighting Rahwana, an Evil Giant King.

Meanwhile, you should also avoid coming in rainy season because the sunset will be closed by the clouds.

It’s recommended to come between July - August for more sunny day. So, you can have the best chance to witness the sunset.
